"Eventful Day"

The term "eventful day" has been loosely used over the years, but due to the lack of an expansive dictionary i shall persist in using it to describe the happenings that occured on 16th of August.

1. A huge fire broke out in my camp (don't bother asking which one) and pandemonium ensued after that.
2. Marched to the cookhouse for the 1st time in 5 years.
3. 14 additional days of leave was awarded to me after external auditor found discrepancies in my leave record, which meant i could officially start clearing my leave till ORD (24/09/06) from 16th of August itself.
   
4. Sang my first ever birthday song in NS during last parade(of all occassion) for a storemen.
5. Was informed after the last parade, that i am arrowed to do guard duty on the 17th of August .
6. Managed to evade the guard duty due to point number 3.
7. Was having fruits at home when my dad informed me that the last 4 digits of my IC number came out 2nd for 16th August's edition of 4D. And my birth year, 1982, came out in the Starters.
8. Of course, i didn't purchase the numbers. Doh.
