I'm back! After countless helping of dim sums, paulor baos (Po Luo Buns) , nai char (Milk teas) , char siew, xiu aor (Roast geese), gong zai min (Instant noodles), zhar ju cheong (Deep fried pig intestines), mong gor peng (mango desserts) later, it's a miracle that I didn't gain any weight at all.
Here's the first part of the blog entries on the food I had in Hong Kong.
And oh, do wipe your saliva after reading.
Yung Kee- Voted one of the top 10 eateries in Asia
The rows of fat, lip smacking good of roast geese.
The meat platter. Clockwise from bottom left:- Char Siew, Roast Chicken, Roast Goose, Pork Belly and Sea Urchin. The Char Siew was fat, juicy and delicious and the Roast Goose was..simply out of this world.
Tai Cheong Confectionary, the place to go to for your Dan Tat fix. Hong Kong's last Governor is a ardent fan of the egg tarts here. FYI, I'm still drooling as I'm typing this.
Caught in the act. Slurp.
Bouncy bouncy beef balls. Yum Yum.
