wash away with the rain

what a fitting end to 2004. Gloomy with torrential downpour throughout the whole day, its as if the sky empathize with the plight of the unfortunate.

In a macro sense of things, 2004 was kinda kind to the world until the last few days. We thought we had survive 2004 without major catastrophes like that of 2001 (911 incident) or 2003(SARS). Too bad the party pooper came in the form of a major tsunami that had already took the lives of 123,000 innocents.

2004 on a personal level was an ok year. Didn't really know what happened

Friends: Made some new friends in uni..eh..yah that's about it..at least dont think i offend anyone that bad enough to sever ties with me

Love: zilch

Studies: good first sem, so so 2nd sem. will work harder

weight: still fat

height: still tall, but some how i got the feeling its regressing

NUFC: bad bad yr...became embroiled in numerous bad press

health: eh..condition of left leg getting worse.. hearing sort of stabilized, less ear aches..herm..that's all

family: herm..nothing changed..all healthy..which is a good thing....always fear to see my family suffering

one thing to add.. 2004 also was some of my friends losing their loved one. Mabel, yongxing, poh chui, weiqi, shuhui lose their next of kins. Hope they will recover from the pain of losing their loved ones and may god bless their next of kins' souls.

as you all might had figured by now, im usually tongue tied, finger twisted basically a man of few words when im describing personal issues. im a certified introvert and don't really know how to open myself to others..pls bear with me if you find me extremely hard nut to crack at times.

lastly,wish everyone have a good 2005

class acts

in a rare display of classiness, mediacorp decided to yank the plug of its screening of the festive countdown in sentosa in respect for tsunami victims.

praise should also go out to the various corporations that initiated charity drives to gather donations of funds and items in kind for the tsunami hit countries.

in times of camalities, it's heartening to see people from all walks of life uniting to aid the distressed.

death is no longer the only certainty in this world

its the time of the year again! not talking about the festive revelry but the annual TYW's leg injury.

Last year i hurt my knee during the Metta's Camp hence denying me the opportunity to steal some kisses under the mistletoe.

This year round the power that be had decided to less harsh on me. They only decide to decorate my left ankle with a huge swelling, sparing considerably less pain from the previous year ordeal. Thanks for showing such benevolence.

The last time i heard, some betting outlet are offering 25/1 odds of me hurting my hips come next Christmas.

Im such a klutz....

weird sightings II

remember i was harping about mynahs in a previous post, weird sightings ? Well part two of this weird sightings is remotely related to them too.

Went out with ric today to scour for a decent looking bag. We were standing below some trees while waiting for the perfect opportunity to stealthy jay walk across the road. When the traffic was easing up, naturally i crossed the road. But ric was still hanging around the above mentioned tree...herm..wondered what was wrong with him.

It was only after he managed to cross the road a while later that i realised what was wrong.. On his right shoulder, i saw the biggest dollop of bird's dropping i ever seen. A huge white patch peppered with some yellow stains in between, reminded me of the 1/2 boiled egg i had for breakfast in the morning.

Never had i seen such a big patch of bird shit before, and never had i witness my friend on the receiving end of such aerial bombardment since the days of Constable Ho.

Definitely weird but amusing..

weird sightings

Woke up this morning to the incessant chirpings by some birds. The ruckus created got louder resulting in me taking at look at what's causing such a commotion.

Opening the front door, the sight that greeted me was...peculiar, something that one wouldn't see often. Four mynahs, as in those regular ugly birds that pelt you with their droppings, were fighting along the common corridor. Even more peculiar is the fact that the birds were slugging it out, wrestling style. Never have i seen choke holds being executed with such panache and strength.

Definitely weird.....

No 6. 廖碧儿

No 6. 廖碧儿 Posted by Hello
Apologies for not updating this top ten gals series for the past few weeks. I assure you the lack of updates was due to sloth on my part and not the dearth of belles. Enough with the talk, coming in at No. 6 is 廖碧儿.

廖碧儿 was a business student in Canada before taking part in a TVB organised beauty paegant in land of maples. Not really sure if she won the paegant but like most contestants in TVB paegants, she was fast tracked into the world of entertainment. Best known for her role in the perodic comedy 皆 大 歡 喜, her acting was stiffed and unnatural.

As time goes by, her thespian abilities got better just as she gotten prettier. Her stars are on the rise and so keep a lookout for her as she takes on more prominent roles in TVB drama serials.

Confession of a smitten fool

i believed it was the first time i felt this way.

On thursday, i saw this beautiful gal on board of the west bound train to boon lay. She had the biggest and most sparkling pair of eyes i ever seen. Although those sparkling gems of hers was hiding behind a pair of pink plastic frame, it couldn't reduce the jolts sent towards my direction.

I must confess, this was the first time i truely fallen for someone at the first sight.......
