Got to know of this nifty quiz via Kaili's blog. All i have to say is..the internet can read my mind...oooh Your view on yourself: You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties. The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for: You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes. Your readiness to commit to a relationship: You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship. The seriousness of your love: You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love. Your views on education Education is less important than the real world out there, away from the classroom. Deep inside you want to start working, earning money and living on your own. The right job for you: You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success. How do you view success: You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous. What are you most afraid of: You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you. Who is your true self: You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

"Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling, By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore."Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou," I said, "art sure no craven, Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the Nightly shore- Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore!" Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore." The Raven, by Edgar Allen Poe, published in 1845 The bird turned, head tipped, suspciously, on one side, and stared at him with bright eyes. 'Say "Nevermore",' said Shadow. 'Fuck you,' said the raven. It said nothing else as they went through the woodland together. Quoth the Raven, "Fuck you." This occured during a lecture conducted by the lecturer mentioned earlier in this post tyw trying very hard to concentrate when James started a conversation.... James: Don't you think the lecturer looks like something... tyw : herm..what James: The China icon.. tyw : Chairman Mao? James: No no... don't you think he looks like a panda?? tyw : tsk tsk... come to think of it, he really looks like one James: We should offer him some bamboo to stop him from yakking On the topic of dress code...... James: Eh, you know what's the dress code for next friday alumni event? FYP Mate1: I asked the contact person and she told the dress code was smart casual. James: So what's the definition of smart casual? Ys : Collared shirt and jeans ba. tyw: And dont forget to wear covered footwear. James: Knn.. cannot wear t shirt meh. Not like my t shirt got holes or anything. Somemore it's casual enough what. tyw : Unless your t shirt got the word SMART printed on it... On the quality of free goods/services tyw: Eh, you attending this thursday's resume workshop or not huh? James: Not sure leh, but why are you attending again? Thought you paid some money to attend a resume workshop last time? tyw: This one different leh, conducted by another person and somemore it's free. James: Wah, then why are you still attending it. It's obvious the workshop that you paid for is better than the free one. tyw: It's not true mah. Free stuffs doesnt necessarily means that it's inferior. James: Yeah yeah, prove me wrong. tyw: You can't say having sex with a 30 dollars Geylang kuey is better than having sex with Lin Chiling, whom we assume to be your girlfriend James: No what, even with Lin Chiling, you still need time to develop the feelings and move to the stage whereby you can screw each other. tyw: 30 dollars Geylang Lao Kuey. James: Er..heh heh.. At this point of time, two gals moved within close proximity thus curtailing our lively discussion.

Received this email from my friend, who's organising a meaningful project for the migrant workers. Give in a read, and help out if you have any unwanted cameras. Hi! RE: Appeal for cameras Over the next three months, a group of local photographers will beworking with 20 to 30 migrant workers, to teach them how to express themselves through photography. They will learn the basics of photography, and subsequently venture out to take pictures from theirown perspectives, experiences and concerns. Their photos will beexhibited at the M1 Singapore Fringe Festival next year. Through such an interactive engagement, we hope that the migrant workers will find a new sense of empowerment to articulate theirvoices, and perhaps offer Singaporeans different perspectives on themigrant worker community in Singapore. We are currently trying to collect enough point-and-shoot cameras to provide for these migrant workers. If you have a camera to donate, please email us at the email addresses listed. OR, you can drop off the camera at The Necesssary Stage and indicatethat it is for the InsideOut photography project: The Necessary Stage,278 Marine Parade Road, #B1-02 Marine Parade Community Building, Singapore 449282Tel: 6440 8115 Collection will be ongoing till Sept 24. Seems like everyone is acting innocent, or is a Hello Kitty fanatic. I received close to ZERO number of guesses in the comments section, except for the kind hearted gaozi who valiantly attempted in solving the riddle on the tagboard. Without further ado, the answer to " Which nationality loves their blowjobs, gum lan jiao, fellatio etc? " is....... JAPANESE Jiak*-Penis Jiak is hokkien for eating. So Britney is following the Beckham's footstep in naming her children after a famous city. It got me thinking, what if Miss Spears is enamored with the little dot called Singapore? Will she go naming her (rumoured) son after the towns of Singapore? Ang Mo Kio Spears, Bedok Spears, Tampines Spears(potential stud in the making) or maybe even Pulau Tekong Spears? And dare i suggest, the Singapore Tourism Board should splurge their entire budget for the next 10 years on the rights to name the next celebrity's child, instead of spending money on making promotional videos that doesnt even get any airtime at all. (read: the much touted video at the IOC ceremony) Nintendogs getting some mass media coverage. via Ucomics, brought to my attention by 夜的诗人

Always wanted something artistic to ramp up the oomph quotient in your home without burning a hole in your wallet? Fret no longer! Modeled after the Esplanade, this nifty kitchenware serves to keep the flies at bay, which is ironic since the Esplanade has long been lampooned for it's uncanny resemblance to a fly eye. That aside, by looking at the mere presence of the kitchenware, it is liken to being transported to Marina Bay, gazing at the Esplanade under the starry sky. It has the effect of making the most bland food looked like it came out of the hand of James Oliver, the most vomit inducing food taste like...vomit inducing food.(you don't eat with your eyes, do you?) So what are you waiting for??? Go grab one now! Available at all major shopping outlets. (Banana sold separately)
